ESPN Personalities, Conference Commissioners, Athletic Directors, Coaches, Student-Athletes Gathered for Reception in Support of Future for College Athletics

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, on April 9, hundreds of stakeholders from across collegiate athletics visited with lawmakers on Capitol Hill for College Sports Day to advocate for a national standard for name, image, and likeness (NIL). 


Following Capitol Hill meetings, a reception in support of the future of college athletics was held featuring programming from the Commissioners for the Atlantic Coast Conference (Jim Phillips), Big Ten Conference (Tony Petitti), Big 12 Conference (Brett Yormark), and Southeastern Conference (Greg Sankey) with ESPN reporter Dana Boyle and analyst Roddy Jones, as well as a fireside chat with University of Louisville Director of Athletics Josh Heird and ESPN analyst Dalen Cuff.
