ICYMI: Commissioners of the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, and SEC sit for first-ever joint interview to discuss NIL while visiting Capitol Hill last week

The interview aired on the Sunday edition of CNN's Inside Politics with Manu Raju

WASHINGTON, D.C. (December 4, 2023) – Yesterday, CNN's Inside Politics with Manu Raju aired the first-ever joint interview with the commissioners of the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, and SEC discussing name, image, and likeness. The interview was conducted last week while the four commissioners were in Washington, D.C. to meet with lawmakers on Capitol Hill for discussions about the future of college athletics and finding a bipartisan federal solution for name, image, and likeness legislation being proposed in Congress. Of note, the trip by the commissioners to Washington, D.C. took place during conference championship week, underscoring the importance of this issue.

Additionally, during several conference championship games this past weekend, a call to action was also displayed asking fans to contact their members of Congress and pass NIL legislation to support student athletes.
